Policies and Procedures 2025-2026
Registration
Effective Season: July 1, 2025 – July 13, 2026
By enrolling a student at Dance 4:13 Inc., you agree to the following policies and procedures, designed to ensure a safe, positive, and productive environment for all dancers and families. This waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian before participation.
Registration
A liability signed waiver and completed registration form are required before any student may participate in classes.
An annual, non-refundable registration fee of $45 per student is due at the start of each season.
If a student must temporarily stop attending but plans to return, parents may request to place the account on Hold status.
A $15 fee will be charged per month that the account is on hold, billed automatically to the card on file.
Hold status reserves the student’s place in their enrolled class(es) during their absence.
Holds are available only if the student is expected to return within 1-3 months.
If the hold exceeds 3 months, the student must repay the annual registration fee upon return, per policy.
Participation in the Annual Summer Recital is mandatory for all registered students.
Billing
Starting July 1, 2025, all accounts must be enrolled in AutoPay for tuition, competition and any other fees.
Tuition is due on the 7th of each month and automatically charged to the card on file.
If payment is declined, you will be notified via text or email. If a new payment method is not added by the 10th, a $35 late fee will be applied.
Tuition is not prorated for holidays, closures, or missed weeks, except when a student registers mid-month.
No refunds will be issued for classes dropped mid-month.
Continued non-payment may result in automatic withdrawal from classes.
To drop classes, please submit a request to enroll@dance413.com, so we can stop billing your account. All cancellations must be made 30 days prior to the 7th of each month. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Example: If it’s June 10, 2025 and Sally wants to cancel for July, cancellation will not be permitted, because the 7th of the current month (June 7) has already passed. However, if Sally submits her cancellation request on June 3, 2025, she may cancel for July, as it falls within the required 30-day notice window.
Please Note:
While Dance 4:13 Inc. makes every effort to keep tuition and competition fees consistent throughout the season, we reserve the right to adjust fees at any time due to changes in operational or production costs. Any changes will be communicated to families in advance.
Delinquent Accounts & Collections Policy
Dance 4:13 Inc. reserves the right to pursue collection of any unpaid tuition, competition fees, costume charges, or other outstanding balances.
If a family withdraws without resolving their account, or fails to respond to billing notices, the account may be referred to a third-party collections agency and/or pursued through legal action in accordance with California law. In such cases, the responsible party will be liable for:
The full outstanding balance
Any collections agency fees
All reasonable attorney fees and court costs incurred during the recovery process
By enrolling a student, the parent or legal guardian accepts full financial responsibility and agrees to this collection and legal policy.
Attendance & Absences
Students must arrive on time. A 15-minute grace period is provided. After that, students may observe only.
Missed classes may be made up in a comparable level class within one month of the absence.
